Country house living just a hop from London
Stoke Place is a reinvention of the quintessential English country house – a home from home environment with all the feel of an aristocratic-owned private house.
From Our Guestbook
"We arrived early for our stay at Stoke Place and our suite was all ready for us including the champagne…"Paul, Southampton. Stayed April 2014

Special features
Rooms have beautiful views over the grounds, hand-sprung mattresses with pure cotton sheets, luxurious bathrooms, access to an extensive film library and wi-fi. Garden rooms have stripped wood floors and underfloor heated walk-in wet rooms, while top categories have double ended clawfoot baths.
Pillow Talk
We loved the Garden rooms, with their great views of the grounds. Cottage rooms and suites have freestanding baths, while the suites also have huge bay windows and enormous beds. The Queen Anne and Gloucester suites are favourites.
Eat & Drink
Dining In
The talents of head chef Craig van der Meer have helped put Stoke Place's Garden Restaurant firmly on the culinary map and win a string of accolades, including a recommendation in the Michelin guide and 3 AA Rosettes. Menus major on ingredients home-grown in the chef's garden (everything from figs to beetroot is grown here), or nurtured in the herb house. Fancy something lighter? The Garden bar is a congenial place for afternoon tea or drinks.
Breakfast
Served until 11:00 am
Room service
Available 24 hours, with plenty of everyday choices.
Activities
See & Do
Take a walk around the 26 acres of Capability Brown designed gardens, borrow a bike for a ride around the lake or have a game of boules, croquet or outdoor chess. Picnics can be arranged in the grounds, and cycling tours of Stoke Poges are a good way to pedal off your breakfast.
Nearby places of interest include royal Windsor, with its castle, cafes and river boat rides, scholarly Eton, horse racing at Ascot and Henley, with its river boat museum. Legoland is nearby if the kids are in tow.
Spa
There's a state of the art gym for workouts and tummy toning, and treatments can be arranged in-room from the hotel's on-call therapists.

A complimentary bottle of wine in your room.
