Windfalls Boutique Hotel

Three beautifully themed bedrooms done out in shades of ivory, coffee and biscuit sport teak and mirrored furniture and gleaming marble and chrome bathrooms.

Orchid, Lotus and Magnolia

All have kingsize four poster beds dressed in sheer muslin drapes and Egyptian cotton bedlinen, where you can snooze under Siberian goose down duvets and pure silk quilts. Bathrooms – all kitted out with fluffy robes and luxury toiletries – come with rain showers and underfloor heating. Creature comforts are matched by giant 42 inch flatscreen TVs, a PS 3/Ipod dock and wi-fi.

Largest of the three themed Windfalls bedrooms is Orchid, with its tactile textures and warm shades of chocolate and soft white, set off by oriental teak and wicker furniture. Dual aspect windows overlook the gardens. Lotus comes in warm, earthy shades accented with pistachio, while Magnolia mixes calming shades of silver and taupe with earthy browns. 

As if that’s not enough, you can add extra fizz to your stay by ordering luxurious extras  – whether a bottle of vintage Bollinger or a box of pink chocolate champagne truffles.

Gym bunnies can head next door to work out in the adjacent health club. If you’re feeling slothful, simply lounge in a wicker armchair in the huge gardens.
