Start your evening with drinks at The George Tap – a congenial downstairs bar serving an array of real ales and draught cider as well as locally produced Sussex wines. Restaurant menus draw on strong Mediterranean influences, using fresh locally sourced ingredients such as Rye Bay fish and Romney Marsh lamb.

See & Do
Cobble-stone Rye is a beautifully preserved old maritime town with winding streets, old pubs and lovely buildings. When you've finished exploring the town, walk along the long white beach of Camber Sands or visit the wonderful gardens at Sissinghurst (pre-booking may be necessary) and Great Dixter. The nature reserve and birdlife of Dungeness is also worth seeing.
