Ten Manchester Street's Dieci restaurant serves modern Italian dishes featuring Italian sourced seasonal ingredients. House specialities include home made gnocchi, olive-crusted baked cod fillet and octopus carpaccio. There's a great tapas-style Aperitivi menu and the afternoon teas are renowned. And they serve a mean Mojito in the swish little cocktail bar, with its velvet banquettes and smart monochrome prints.
Served until 11am (£15pp). Specialities include eggs Benedict, Florentine and Royale, or poached eggs served on an English muffin with Umbrian truffle ragout. Sweet-tooths can opt for the buttermilk American pancakes.

Marylebone High Street and its village-like surrounds are packed with inviting little shops, cafes and galleries. The chi-chi stores of Bond Street are minutes away, together with the shopping mecca of Oxford Street. Regent's Park lies ten minutes in the other direction, and London's theatre land is just a short cab (or tube) ride away.
