Restored Suffolk watermill with sleek and chic interiors.
Set beside sleepy meadows and a mill pond, Tuddenham Mill is a picture of rural Suffolk tranquillity. But behind those 200-year-old timbered walls, this rustic looking boutique hotel oozes metropolitan chic.

Eat & Drink
Dining in
Head chef Lee Bye is passionate about cooking – and it shows. Tuddenham Mill has been showered in culinary awards, and is the only restaurant in Suffolk to be awarded three coveted AA Rosettes.
Lee loves working with the best local produce the region has to offer. Bursting with flavour, his contemporary British fare includes winners such as white onion and cider soup with Norfolk crab toast, black bream with blonde beer battered mussels, caponata and coastal herbs and Telmara duck breast, roasted chervil root, girolles and kale. De-lish desserts feature passion fruit posset with pistachio granola, and Lancashire baked apples with oats and mead ice cream.
Seven-course taster menus – bookable in advance – can be tailored to your tastes. Afternoon tea is served on Fridays and Saturdays only, with or without a glass of champers!
Breakfast
Breakfast is served until 10.30 daily. If you don’t have room for the Full Mill breakfast (complete with black pudding and Dingley Dell pork sausage), kick-start the day with a delicious fresh smoothie or try the hot smoked salmon and herbs with scrambled egg, Brioche french toast with caramelised banana or locally-smoked kippers.
Room service
Room service is available from the breakfast, dinner and light bites menus within the times that these are available in the restaurant. There is a supplement for this. Outside of these times sandwiches, nuts and olives are available.
