Appealing new-old rambling Cotswold manor house

This newly refurbished ivy-covered Cotswold inn has been restored in sleek contemporary style:  exposed stonework here, a huge stone fireplace against fabulous wallpaper there.

From Our Guestbook

"Our stay at The Manor House on Weds 11th Sept was superb! We went there to celebrate our 25th Wedding…"

Know It All

Hit the Spot
Centre stage in the market town of Moreton-in-Marsh.

Come here for...
• Olde-worlde setting, new-age comforts. • Cocktails or lunch in the walled gardens. • Secluded Apple cottage, with its own private outdoor hot tub.

Gorgeous gardens with water features, pathways and 300 year old trees.

Good to know
It's a popular venue for weddings, so you may spot some bridesmaids!

35 rooms and suites

Special features
Some have four-posters and period features such as fireplaces and window seats. All have bathrooms generously stocked with Molton Brown goodies. Top category rooms also have fluffy bathrobes and Nespresso coffee machines.

Pillow Talk
Apple Cottage, with its outdoor hot tub, private garden and cosy lounge is star of the show – call us to check availability as it's in huge demand. Our other favourites include the four-postered Tudor Moot room, complete with Tudor fireplace and little sitting area, and Room 17 – a lovely Superior double.

Eat & Drink

Dining in
Start things off at the Manor House cocktail bar, before moving on to the Mulberry restaurant, with its vibrant artworks and colours. Menus combine local, seasonal ingredients with cosmopolitan flair: try Lighthorne lamb, whole squab pigeon, slow-cooked Blythburgh free range pork belly or poached turbot. There is a smart/casual dress code in the Mulberry Restaruant. The sheltered patio beckons for outdoor summer dining, while the hotel's Beagle Brasserie is perfect for informal eats.

Full breakfast is served in the Beagle Brasserie, with its wicker chairs and garden views, until 9.30am.

Room service
Available morning and evening.

See & Do
Moreton-in-Marsh boasts plenty of antique and arty shops worthy of a trawl. There's plenty to see and do: Batsford Park Arboretum, Sezincote House and Garden, and Shakespeare's Stratford. It's also fun to nosey around the little Cotswold villages in the vicinity.

Dairy Dates
Watch the turf fly and the champers flow at the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

Horses, sheepdogs and farm animals are among the stars of the Moreton-in-Marsh country show.
