Appealing new-old rambling Cotswold manor house

This newly refurbished ivy-covered Cotswold inn has been restored in sleek contemporary style:  exposed stonework here, a huge stone fireplace against fabulous wallpaper there.

Dining in
Start things off at the Manor House cocktail bar, before moving on to the Mulberry restaurant, with its vibrant artworks and colours. Menus combine local, seasonal ingredients with cosmopolitan flair: try Lighthorne lamb, whole squab pigeon, slow-cooked Blythburgh free range pork belly or poached turbot. There is a smart/casual dress code in the Mulberry Restaruant. The sheltered patio beckons for outdoor summer dining, while the hotel's Beagle Brasserie is perfect for informal eats.
