Classic Cotswold charm in olde-worlde Burford
Centuries-old Cotswold stone walls, heavy oak doors and a well trodden wooden staircase lead to opulently furnished bedrooms at The Bay Tree, with its log fires and pretty walled rose garden.

21 rooms and suites
All rooms come with fluffy bathrobes, Molton Brown toiletries, a flatscreen TV and tea/coffee making tray.
Polished Bay Tree bedrooms glow with good country taste. Antiques, oak staircases and exposed beams are reminders that guests have been cosying up here for a couple of hundred years, and some rooms have four posters and/or a fireplace.
The Oak master suite is a leap through centuries of luxury, with its four-poster bed, lavish lounge and jacuzzi bath. Garden rooms have French doors and a Juliet balcony, making them perfect for summer stays.
Eat & Drink
With its tapestries, polished flagstone floors and old leaded windows overlooking the gardens, the Bay Tree restaurant exudes Cotswold charm. Start with smoked haddock and salmon fishcakes with a sweet chilli sauce and balsamic vinegar, then bite into grilled breast of duck with confit potato and a pine nut and sun blushed tomato jus, and finish off with a sinful dark chocolate torte served with mascarpone chantilly.
Full breakfast is served until 9.30am.
Available morning and evening.
