Read what Room for Romance guests have to say about Broadway Hotel following their stay.
Lovely hotel. We dined in the restaurant several times and can't speak too highly of the food quality and service. The Broadway is now one of our favourites and we'll definitely be going back!
Nick and Sonia, Bathampton. Stayed November 2013
Thank you for arranging our stay at The Broadway. The hotel was excellent, the staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble, the food was very good and the accommodation very comfortable. The flowers and chocolates were there as promised and very good also. Thank you! I'm sure I will be calling you again.
Steve, Milton Keynes. Stayed October 2013
We had a fabulous stay, the staff were ever so friendly while still being professional. The hotel had been recently refurbished and was done to a high standard. The food was excellent, we had a meal in the pub and breakfast in the dining room. The room was cozy and bed comfy. The pressure from the shower was a tad low, but all in all very impressed.
Scott, Maidenhead. Stayed August 2013
We found the Broadway very friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing and was a real high point of our stay there. Lovely location on the village green with plenty to see and do.
Anat and Adrian, Warminster. Stayed April 2013
Our stay at the Broadway Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The views, the rooms, the staff and the food were perfect! I treated my partner for her birthday and the hotel staff were good enough to do us a little something extra for her birthday meal in the form of a very lovely chocolate cake and chocolate message written on the plate. I have already recommended the hotel to my family and friends as it is a perfect location for visiting the beautiful Cotswolds and surrounding area. If I were to rate the experience, I would put it higher than when I stayed at the Hilton in London and I think that regardless of whether the Broadway hotel has a lift or not, it should definitely have more than 3 stars!

What a wonderful time staying at the Burford House. It was fantastic. The staff were so friendly and kind, we hated to leave!
Jim C, Dallas. Stayed September 2012
Our stay at Burford House, to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our room was as described with a four-poster bed and double roll top bath – just what you need for a romantic break! The hotel owner was very welcoming, dinner was excellent and the walled courtyard garden was peaceful and tranquil.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at Cotswold House. Everything was great. Even the weather was perfect! Thanks again for arranging everything.
James C, Farnham Common. Stayed May 2012
The room was booked as a 25th wedding anniversary treat for my wife and we were warmly greeted at reception. Our suite was absolutely super with a separate massive bathroom with Turkish bath. We were very happy just to while away the afternoon and relax in the room – and very much enjoyed the contents of the complimentary mini bar and champagne! We had an excellent meal in the bistro where the service was faultless. An excellent night and we will be using your service again, as well as recommending it to friends.
Phil D, Atherstone. Stayed April 2011
Cotswold House is incredible. It's a beautiful hotel in a stunning setting and the room was perfect – every little detail had been thought out; right down to cutlery from a local designer. I would definitely return to this hotel, I'm now searching your website for my next weekend away!
Nicola H, Sutton Coldfield. Stayed June 2010
A most enjoyable stay! The hotel lived up to our expectations, which hasn’t always been our experience in boutique hotels. The room was lovely, the food was extremely good and we loved the art work on the walls!
Roger T, London E14. Stayed April 2010
It was easy to book and the hotel was great – especially the wonderful staff.

We were upgraded to a Great room, which was huge. The grounds are beautiful and we had perfect weather, so made a beeline for the sun loungers! Could do with a lick of paint here and there but loved the designer feel everywhere.
Alice, Ross on Wye. Stayed July 2013
Cowley Manor was amazing! The whole experience, location etc was perfect. Loved the champagne in the room, too.
Rowena, Chippenham. Stayed November 2011
The website and booking process was excellent and the spa and dinner package was excellent value. I have stayed in a number of amazing hotels throughout the world and I genuinely feel that Cowley Manor is up there with the best. The spa and pool area is fantastic, as is the food, and the hotel accommodation is gorgeous with a funky twist. I will be going back soon.

We totally loved our stay at The Hare and Hounds and thought it was an amazing deal given everything included. Hope you can help us now for our next getaway planned for the May bank holiday!
Sarah, London SW4. Stayed February 2014
The Hare and Hounds was everything we were hoping it would be. We received a room upgrade on arrival and our champagne was iced and waiting in the room. The staff were excellent. Our room was spotless, large, comfy, luxurious and just what we hoped for. The evening meal as part of the deal was outstanding! Quite possibly one of the best meals we have ever had. Unbelievable quality, service and value, a fine dining experience where we felt truly pampered. Even breakfast was amazing and of the highest quality. All this and yet not stuffy and uncomfortable. All in all, top marks for your service and top marks for the hotel. We loved our weekend and it will be something we always remember, We would definitely recommend both your website and the hotel and hope we can book something through you again.
Paul and Trudy, Milton Keynes. Stayed March 2013
We had a lovely time and everything went well. Our room was a little small, however overall it was a lovely stay and with the meal included, your package was great value for money.
Hannah, London SW18. Stayed August 2012
I made this booking as a surprise treat for my girlfriend as it was our anniversary. Definitely earned some brownie-points! The hotel was really beautiful, exactly what I was looking for – a proper country retreat. The evening meal was fantastic, as was the wine, the introductory cocktails, the liqueurs in the bar afterwards, etc etc.......! It is perfect for anyone wanting to see Westonbirt Arboretum, which, since we went in November, was in it's autumnal glory. We had a really romantic afternoon/evening walking round there before dinner. Then we had a great day walking round Tetbury and browsing all the quirky shops and sampling the cafes. Your website was easy to use, with a variety of ways to search what you're looking for and what you see advertised is exactly what you get. The booking was seamless also, nothing hidden, no surprises. I have already recommended it to several of my mates for them to earn points with their girlfriends!
Gavin, New Milton. Stayed November 2012
Our stay at the Hare & Hounds was superb! From the moment we got there we felt completely relaxed. Our room in the main house was beautifully decorated and the food in the Beaufort restaurant was outstanding (particularly the chocolate dessert). We were very well looked after and will definitely be going back. Thanks Room for Romance!
Row and Sam, Chippenham. Stayed September 2012
This was an excellent hotel, very relaxed and a great place to unwind for five days. The restaurant was extremely good, as was the pub that is also part of the hotel. The room was a great size and comfortable, though it would have been even better had the wireless signal reached our room. Other than that, a great hotel well deserving of its 4 star status.

We enjoyed spending time at The Lamb. The food was lovely and the room was great. We were meant to have Sunday papers but got The Times instead the next morning, which was my only slight complaint. I will definitely be booking another stay in the near future.
Alison, Evesham. Stayed August 2013
Our stay at the Lamb Inn was truly wonderful. Our room was very pleasant and the complimentary water was much appreciated given the hot weather! The beautiful garden was great for relaxing in and enjoying our coffee after dinner. We took the Smoochy Sunday break which was excellent value with some lovely extra items at dinner to try with compliments of the chef. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming, would definitely make a return visit.
Jane, Bristol. Stayed July 2013
Our 'Smoochy Sunday' break at The Lamb was everything I'd hoped it would be. We checked in to this quintessential Cotswold inn on a damp, grey, Sunday afternoon. It was SO lovely to enter the cosy, wonderfully atmospheric bar and lounge area and we were given a very warm welcome. We were upgraded to a lovely room with a four-poster bed and the (very toasty) bathroom had great views onto the pretty courtyard garden and Burford's church steeple in the distance. We had time to explore the antique shops in the village before getting ready for dinner. We were initially tempted to eat in the bar as it looked so inviting, but as our deal included a 3-course meal from the restaurant menu, we went through to the dining room instead. Very glad we did: great service, excellent menu choice, delicious food and convivial atmosphere. A fabulous breakfast next morning – the best bangers I've ever had! All in all, a perfect 24-hour break and a real bargain. Many thanks Debbie for being so helpful with our booking.

Our stay was lovely. The restaurant lacked a bit of atmosphere perhaps but both food and service were fantastic. The room was beautiful and felt very special.
Katie H, Pinner. Stayed May 2012
Our stay was amazing – the hotel and accommodation were so atmospheric and romantic. The staff could not have been any more helpful and only appeared when required, allowing you to enjoy your stay. We opted for the restaurant's taster menu, which again I could not recommend enough; it was such a fantastic evening of taste, texture and smells. Coffee could be taken through to the lounge area with the open fires, before we retired to the bedroom (with original features). We can’t wait to return.

I would like to let you know that our stay at the Manor House was lovely. The staff made sure that we were able to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary in style and the food served was exceptionally good! I would recommend this hotel to anybody. Thanks again for arranging our break.

We had a fantastic time and couldn't fault a single thing. The staff were very polite, friendly and attentive, the rooms were immaculate and were cleaned / tidied very quickly by the maids, and the restaurant experience was fantastic. The food was the best we've ever had (and we've eaten in many good restaurants) and the service second to none. The wine was explained well, the food was delicious, the plates were cleared away quickly and the ambience was very relaxing. The champagne, petals and candles were waiting for us on our arrival, we had a room with a jacuzzi bath as you had promised us and the large wet room style shower with the side jets was an added bonus. We took a walk after breakfast and the setting and the grounds were beautiful. The village setting was also gorgeous – it was like stepping back in time. We ate in the Castle Inn, just outside the hotel, on our second night. I would thoroughly recommend The Manor House at Castle Combe to anyone – it really was everything you said and more. One of the managers there told us that they are trying to get their 5th star – in our opinion they should already have it!
Steph, St Albans. Stayed August 2012
The Manor House was absolutely stunning, the setting was beautiful, the staff warm and accommodating and the restaurant just fantastic. My partner (30th birthday present) was thrilled and said "You couldn't have got it more right if you tried." I cannot fault our trip, RoomforRomance.com pulled a blinder out of the bag for us. I will definitely be coming back to you the next time we need to escape from the big smoke.

It was an amazing experience. I proposed to my now wife there. The staff were first class and upgraded us to a great room, the dinner was fan-tas-tic. I recommended this hotel to anyone who is looking to be pampered 200%.

The Manor House was fabulous. We have stayed there twice before, but the Bybrook Restaurant is now in a different league in terms of the excellence of the food and the overall gastronomic experience. The suite we had was wonderful and just right for an anniversary weekend. Room for Romance were also excellent – your Champagne Getaway package was exceptionally good value and the Manor House delivered in full.

Our stay at The Manor House on Weds 11th Sept was superb! We went there to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better place. Apple Cottage with the hot tub was just lovely. When I booked I didn't stop to think it would be a separate cottage on its own, so that was a lovely surprise. The 8 course tasting menu was wonderful. We ate everything! And ALL the staff were very helpful and friendly. We will be going back again some day.

Our stay at the Manor House Hotel was perfect! The four poster room was a first for us and the bed was very comfortable. The food and the service in the restaurant were excellent. Overall the hotel had a welcoming and friendly feel to it. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Your Anniversary Package was exactly what I was looking for (although it wasn't our anniversary!...read on). I actually proposed to my girlfriend prior to arrival at the hotel (and she said 'yes') so having a bottled of chilled champagne waiting for us in our room to celebrate was a perfect touch. We had also been upgraded to a four-poster bed so another great addition. We dined in the conservatory of the hotel in a glorious setting in late spring evening. We opted for the eight course tasting menu which was absolutely fabulous. Both the dining experience and service were second to none. Following a drink in the hotel bar we retired to our room to also find a red rose and chocolates. We left after a gorgeous breakfast and a thoroughly enjoyable stay in the Cotswolds. Many thanks to your team for helping with my requirements – We will definitely return.

We stayed in Apple Cottage at The Manor House as part of our 'minimoon' and it was the perfect way to begin married life! The cottage was beautiful – especially the bathroom with its roll-top bath and Molton Brown toiletries. We especially enjoyed sipping champagne in our private hot tub! The 8-course tasting menu included in our Suite Dreams package was absolutely delicious as was the afternoon cream tea and the breakfast served in our room. Service was excellent. We had a wonderful time and just wish we could have stayed longer.

My husband and I had a lovely time at the Manor House. The food was excellent and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Our room did not have views and the room upstairs had creaky floorboards, but I appreciate this is to be expected in an old hotel! However none of this spoilt our stay and the added surprise of a valet car service for my husband made things very special. I will definitely be using your site again.

We had a wonderful stay at Oak House No.1. The quality of the accommodation was exceptional. It was like staying in a five-star hotel within someone's home. The description and photos on the website were accurate; it is definitely 'rock chic'. The owners were very hospitable and attentive, breakfast was excellent, as was afternoon tea. A nice touch was that the owners had put together a driving guide of the surrounding villages, which we used on our way home. I often find it difficult to find accommodation in the UK of a high standard and which offers something special for a romantic weekend – your website is a rare find and I will be using it again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this great venue. Nikki and Gary were perfect hosts and the house and room were simply breathtaking. Their laid-back but professional approach, combined with genuine hospitality, will certainly ensure a return visit. We were advised on a number of walks and top local tips – 10 out of 10.

What a beautiful hotel in such beautiful surroundings, the food was out of this world and the staff so helpful, we had the most amazing anniversary and you were a major part of that and we cannot thank you enough!

Your one night Bubbles Indulgence package is excellent value (not that I should know, as my wife booked our stay as a Father's Day treat!) as it includes dinner and all the trimmings. Room 12 had a very nice jacuzzi bath and we thought service from the staff was spot-on. Hard to think of a prettier setting in the Cotswolds – shame we didn't have time to spend a few hours at the trout farm down the road! Enjoyed the ones we had for dinner later.

Our stay at The Swan in Bibury was a delight, I couldn’t say enough kind words about the hotel and staff. Everything ran so smoothly, from booking and placing the deposit, checking in, the champagne and dinner, and check out. All impeccable service. The pictures on your website were enticing, but couldn’t ever do justice to the sheer beauty of the village, nor for that matter, the high standard of the hotel and facilities. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, this was a birthday treat to my partner, but one in which I got to enjoy also!
Laura H, Cirencester. Stayed October 2012
Fabulous!!! Our hot tub was already switched on and bubbling when we arrived, the champagne was on ice, chocolates and Molton Brown gift set waiting. Excellent food and service, we really couldn't find fault. Thanks again for the service, and look forward to using Room for Romance again.

Our stay was fantastic and the package was great too. It was a very special weekend and all the requests I had made for the room were done to perfection. The location is stunning and the hotel services and staff were great doing their best to be helpful and to provide us with a pleasant experience. Highly recommend you as I have already done to all my friends and family and also the hotel too!!!

Our stay in The Whooper Cottage at The Swan was everything we expected it to be, complete luxury. The Champage Hot Tub Getaway was perfect for my partner's 30th birthday and the food in the restaurant was superb. We would definitely recommend this to couples enjoying a romantic break away.

Our stay at The Swan at Bibury was amazing, from the cottage to the staff, to the views, to the food. My husband was back from Afghanistan for 2 weeks and this was a special treat to him, and he was blown away by it all. No other word describes our stay but 'perfect'.

Our night at The Swan in Bibury was absolutely perfect and I couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly and the hotel had a relaxing atmosphere and surroundings to die for. Our room 'Mandarin' was gorgeous and the decor was fantastic. We loved The Swan so much, it is top contender for our wedding location in 2013!
