Special features
Designed to harmonise with their coastal setting and decorated in sleek Scandinavian style, bedrooms range from the smallest Just Right rooms to the sumptuous Indulgent rooms. All have their own individual outside space – whether a courtyard garden, terrace or balcony – with views over the gardens, cliffs and sea.

Most have an open plan bathroom (so you stay connected to those stunning views) and large double bed. Expect luxurious bedding, oval bathtubs – some in the bedroom itself – monsoon showers and floor-to-ceiling glass doors leading outside.

Pillow Talk
Splash out if budget allows on an Indulgent room, with a huge bathtub, big seating area and amazing views. We loved the rooms with a patio leading straight onto the grass, though all have outdoor access.

Eat & Drink

Dining In
Menus feature classic British and Mediterranean dishes with a creative twist. Seafood is naturally king here, with fresh-landed lobster, sea bass and red mullet, Cornish crab and other treats. Numerous artisan wines from local growers are on offer. Sunday roasts (followed by a brisk walk along the cliffs) are a big hit, together with de-lish afternoon teas, served on the rooftop terrace with a glass of fizz. Top views, naturally.

Breakfast
Served until 10.30am. The menu changes daily and the choice is yours.

Room service
Available from early till late.

Activities

See & Do
There's a big range of outdoor activities on offer, from horse riding on the beach to surf lessons, tree climbing and coasteering. You'll want to make time for wallowing in one of the the seaweed-infused clifftop hot tubs  – ideally at sunset with a glass of bubbly – a tramp along the beach or walks along the coastal paths. Newquay is within easy reach should you need a more urban fix.

Spa Pampering
The Scarlet's all-glass, sea facing Ayurvedic Spa is designed for deep relaxation, with tented treatment rooms and hanging pods suspended from the ceiling for serious chill-outs. A huge indoor pool leads into an outdoor pool fringed with reeds and natural rocks. Chillout zones and an eco friendly treatment list match the hotel's green-and-clean ethos, with choices including tension-trampling massages, salt and seaweed scrubs, white clay wraps or even yoga in the gardens.
