Each room has its own personality. Stylish split level suites have a sitting area, rolltop bath, walk-in monsoon shower and CD/DVD player. All come with designer fittings and furnishings, and sleek bathrooms stocked with Temple SPA toiletries.
As well as the rooftop hot tub there’s the funky Oyster Bar, and a relaxed lounge for cocktails or afternoon tea.
Opt for an Eclectic Grand suite, complete with extravagant mock-Baroque bed, sumptuous fabrics and side-by-side cast iron rolltop soaking tubs in the stunning upper level bathroom. Or book one of the two huge, galleried Opus Grand suites, complete with huge duck-egg shaped bathtub for two and walk-in rain shower/steam room.

The Kitchen in the Old school House serves traditional Irish breakfast and light bites throughout the day, while for evening meals there are scores of great restaurants nearby. Start the night with a cocktail on the roof garden or some light bites at the Oyster Bar.

Have a peek at Granada TV’s Coronation Street film set from the rooftop. You’re right in the heart of Manchester’s shopping district here so take a trip to Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and the city markets to flex some plastic.
If culture is more you thing then the Lowry Centre, Manchester Opera House and Manchester Art Gallery are all nearby, while fans of the beautiful game can see the big soccer stars in action at Old Trafford or the City of Manchester Stadium close by. Manchester’s Royal Exchange theatre is also nearby for some great stage productions.
While there’s no in-house spa, you won’t want to miss a dip in the rooftop hot tub.
Some of the biggest names in music appear at the Manchester International Festival, which also includes theatre, art and street performers.
