Eat & Drink

Dining In
The classically decorated Somerset Dining Room has two AA Rosettes under its belt for culinary creations. Menus focus on what's seasonal and locally sourced, and your dining experience starts with canapes and an amuse-bouche. Specialities include home-smoked salmon and Brixham sole. The Garden room is perfect for aperitifs and post-dinner chasers.

Breakfast is served until 10am. Expect an array of cereals and pastries plus several hot options.

Room service
Available morning and evening.

See & Do
There's plenty to do hereabouts. The moors and woodland of Exmoor National Park are close by, as are the tress, temples and trails of Hestercombe Gardens and the Tudor mansion Barrington Court. Dunster is a picture book Somerset village with thatched cottages and a castle, while Glastonbury jostles with little shops selling every kind of charm and scented candle.

Spa pampering
Mount Somerset's small but perfectly equipped Spa has a hydropool, foot spa, sauna, steam room and mini-gym. There's a relaxation room (and outdoor terrace) where you can take refreshments and three treatment rooms offering a varied menu of treatments.
