Good to know
There’s no pool at Hotel V... but you'll find a rooftop jacuzzi, and you’re just five minutes from (often deserted) Atlantic beaches. A car here is a must.
12 rooms and one suite.
All rooms have king or queen size beds, satellite TV, wi-fi and personal CD players. Designer bathrooms are stocked with Ayurvedic body lotions.
Many Superior rooms have a small private garden or gallery area. Room 10 – with private terrace – has fabulous countryside views.
Eat & Drink
There’s no restaurant as such, but tapas and informal dinners (cooked to order) are served on the rooftop terrace. Expect traditional favourites such as gazpacho and seafood prepared with fresh local ingredients.
Breakfast – best enjoyed up on the roof – is served until 11.30 am. Look forward to freshly squeezed fruit juice, daily baked bread and yoghurt.
Available morning and afternoon.
See & Do
Swim and sun-soak from the beaches at El Palmar or Canos de Meca, just a short drive away – this is perfect windsurfing and kite flying territory. Stroll through the historic winding streets of old Vejer, maybe stopping off for some tapas along the way. Explore the Roman ruins of Bolonia, or touch base with nature at La Brena National Park. There are also several golf courses nearby. If you get the travel bug then head to nearby Tarifa and hop on the ferry to Morocco.
Ayurvedic massages and other spa treatments are available, either in the sunshine on the rooftop, or in the cool and calm of the ancient well down below.
Make sure you bring your running shoes for El Tor Embolao – Vejer’s answer to the famous Pamplona bull running.
Experience the traditional Spanish festivities of Holy Week – fireworks, fiestas, processions and parades.
