Activities

See & Do
You’re at the heart of the city here, with scores of things to see and do nearby. Anne Frank’s house is just around the corner, while the more louche charms of the red light district lie within a 15 minute walk. Admire the Van Goghs and Rembrandts at the city’s top art museums, or check out the rather more offbeat exhibits in the Hash, Marijuana and Hemp museum.

Go native and hire a bike to pedal around the city, take a cruise along the canals, or linger in one of Amsterdam’s traditional brown cafés with  a Pils. In summer, Vondelpark offers a relaxing breather from the city‘s bustle.

Spa
While there is no spa, The Toren can arrange passes to a nearby health club at specially discounted rates.

Diary Dates
April 30
Queen’s Day is one of the biggest dates of the year and the whole city turns orange in celebration. Expect plenty of live music and partying.

June-August
Vondelpark plays home to al fresco theatre, dance and cabaret throughout the summer months.
