My wife and I just spent 5 nights here and we had a fantastic time. We stayed in room 206 for the first 4 nights and then they moved us to 215 for the last night. What you pay for here in Positano is deffinately the view and these 2 rooms are just great. Rosita and the staff are just great and to have someone like her who goes out of her way to make sure that all is in its place makes for a more enjoyable experience. Our overall experience was excellent and we left wishing we had a few more days and for sure one day we will return to the Miramare!

Our stay at Casa Angelina was amazing – a highlight of our trip. The location was perfect and the view from the hotel was stunning, service was first class and I would not hesitate in recommending Casa Angelina to anyone. The white decor maintains a fresh and clean environment and our room was very accommodating – the champagne on arrival was a lovely welcome. On our first night we went for dinner in Positano and I returned home to a candlelit room, turned down bed and romantic bath with rose petals. It was a lovely end to the evening. This was a beautiful hotel with fantastic service and staff. I hope to return again one day.

We had a lovely room with a great view over the coast. We did have the junior suite so there was plenty of space. They have made lovely features out of the original building and it has a nice relaxed feel about it. They also have a Sky box, so you can watch many channels in English . The restoration has been done very well and the highlight of the place is the roof terrace where you are served breakfast (yummy pastries from a local place) and also where they have the bar for the evening. They had a bottle of Prosecco in the room for us when we arrived so we actually ended up taking that up to the terrace and sipping the evening away up there, as did most guests. There's no pool terrace for sunbathing, but I suspect that most people who end up in Pisciotta won't mind!

I’ve been to Sorrento many times before, but staying at the Villa dei D’Armiento was something different. To start with it’s tucked away at the end of a quiet road in the suburb of Sant’Agnello (a few short steps from a view over the Bay of Naples to die for, especially at sunset!). So though the buzz of downtown Sorrento is within walking distance – and to be honest , you do get a fair amount of traffic passing at certain times of day too – the villa itself stands in a tranquil and green oasis where palm trees rustle, a fountain tinkles and doves strut about on the garden lawn. What I liked most was the feeling that we were staying at our own private villa. Because it only has seven rooms, we rarely saw other guests. And though the staff were always around when needed (to whisk up fluffy omelettes, check timetables, give advice on what not to miss, and so on), they kept out of the way when not. Pierluigi, the owner, grew up in the villa and wants it to feel as welcoming and comfortable for his guests as a it did for him when he shared it with his family. If we had a complaint it’s that it’s all too easy to stay put, enjoy villa living, and miss out on everything else that Sorrento has to offer!
