Special features
Themed bedrooms (some with bath, some with rain showers) in calming pastels come with Tempur-pedic mattresses and a choice of pillows, iPod dock, minibar and LCD TV. Suites have their own Nespresso machine. Soft lighting, fat candles and under-lit beds add to the bedtime appeal.

Legend rooms come in shades of taupe, white and gold set off by exotic wallcoverings. Sheer drapes encircle the bed, while gold-petal light fittings add to the lustre.

Echo rooms are splashed with kitten-ish pinks and greys, the shower shielded with crackled glass, while Narcisse rooms feature a swirling water-inspired motif. The purple-themed Passage Secret Suite is dominated by a huge photo mural of a woman sssshing you to sleep.

Pillow Talk
We loved the Dreamcatcher suite – an attic hideaway with a huge in-room corner bath is perfect for soaking à deux, and a giant dreamcatcher ring hung from the ceiling. A sheepskin rug and wood framed open fireplace complete the look.

There’s no restaurant, but friendly staff will be happy to suggest some cool places to dine in the vicinity.

Breakfast
Served until 10.30am (EUR15 pp). Look forward to a continental spread of croissants and pastries, cold cuts and cheeses.

Available every evening till 1am.

Saint Germain is bursting with things to see and do. When you tire of the area's myriad cafes, bars and galleries, check out the treasures of the Louvre, the Luxembourg Gardens, the posh stores of Boulevard Saint Michel and Notre-Dame.
