Owners Pierre and Florence Pallardy have turned Domaine de la Baronnie, their aristocratic 18th century mansion on the Atlantic island-jewel of Ile de Ré, into an oasis of well-being.

You'll find lush and tranquil gardens to relax in. Owner Pierre, a well known osteopath, offers therapeutic massages.

There's no pool or gym, but beaches are not far away.
Six rooms and suites
Individually styled rooms match comfort with impeccable design flair.
La Tour des Amis is the most romantic room, while Madame de Sévigné is tastefully traditional.
Eat & Drink
Only breakfast is served. Expect fresh market produce very much in keeping with the owners' philosophy of peace and wellbeing.
Buffet breakfast is served until 10.30am for EUR 16 per person.
See & Do
Hop into the saddle – Ile de Ré has over 100km of cycle track especially for you and your rental bike. A bird sanctuary is close by, and you really get a sense of nature along the island's untamed, wild beaches and peachy sands. You'll find plenty of old villages to call into for a cooling beer or citron pressé. Check out Saint-Martin's eye-catching harbour, citadel and museum, and enjoy its summer-resort buzz.
