There’s something for everyone in this fun packed location. The Taupo Surf School will talk you through your first surfing steps on 30 km of shoreline. Go trekking in the Minnamurra rainforest, work out at the Wollongong University Recreation and Aquatic Centre, go horse riding, cycling or hand gliding. For an extra kick, try skydiving over the beach or cruise the surrounds on a chauffeured Harley Davidson motorbike, solo sidecar or trike. For a lazier day, there are art galleries, dolphin cruises and even a Buddhist temple to be explored.
