TWENTY NEVERN SQUARE
West London townhouse with a Euro-Asian flavour.
SET ON A
LEAFY west London square, Twenty Nevern Square is done out in fetching Euro-Asian style. A private home converted into a
smart but budget-conscious hotel, it's designed to be easy on the eye.
Bedrooms with polished wood floors,
Indonesian furniture and silk cushions have a definite touch of Raffles about them. While rooms are not large, bathrooms are marbled and there's clever use of space, with a wide-screen TV and CD player concealed in the armoire.
Twenty Nevern Square's
signature rooms make the perfect big-city escape. The Terrace room is a private sanctuary in teal and rust tones with mahogany sleigh beds and a private terrace for breakfast à deux. The Rococo room is a symphony to excess, while
the Pasha suite rustles in acres of sumptuous silk and boasts its own intimate terrace overlooking the square. Four poster rooms blend luxe with laid-back Orient.
Hit the spot
At the leafy end of Earl's Court.
Bedtime
Get in the suds together in the sumptuous Pasha suite, or take a Four Poster room. The Terrace room is also a winner.
Be savvy
Rooms aren't huge but are elegantly fitted.
Be smitten
West London pad with a touch of the East.
Bowls of shiny apples
The hotel's Ottoman suite takes the biscuit in decadence. Massive floor-to-ceiling windows looking over the garden square, a free-standing clawfoot bath,
glass-fronted bathroom, yawning 42 inch plasma TV and sumptuous cream and blue decor mark it out as a place to simply pull down the shutters.
Generous breakfasts complete with fresh tropical fruits start the day here and
bowls of shiny apples are everywhere should you get peckish later. Night owls can order the hotel’s famous picnic trays for celebrating in bed or on a private terrace.
You're just a sprint on the tube here from the shopaholic’s hunting grounds of Sloane Street and Harvey Nicks. Helpful staff are happy to give directions, and the many late-night bars of Earl's Court are just a stroll away.
