SEASCAPE AT EMU BAY
Great ocean views and hospitality on Kangaroo Island
SUPERLATIVE OCEAN VIEWS make this clifftop B&B sitting squarely above Emu Bay on Kangaroo Island a winner. Watching the surf roll into
a sweeping arc of white-sand beach from the terrace, glass of vino in hand, takes some beating after a day in the great outdoors.
Inside Seascape at Emu Bay, your nothing’s-too-much-trouble hosts have created a relaxed and comfortable oasis. The three smartly done-out suites, whose neutral shades and fuss-free decor focus attention on the ever-changing seascape outside, have
terrific ocean views and wide verandahs, with large sofas, kingsize beds and DVD players.
The book-lined lounge, with its wood fire and board games, is just the place to gen up on the island’s wildlife after dinner. Eating in is a must, and the cooking – majoring on
fresh seafood, home-baked bread and local produce – ranks with the island’s best. Take one of the private 4WD tours of this fascinating island, just a 30-minute hop from Adelaide.
