Start the day at Sacred Mountain with a lavish breakfast of tropical fruits, book a yoga session or wander down to those uncrowded beaches for some swimming and surfing. Explore the rainforest and return for another next-to-nature experience at Sea Scape Cottage – one of three in the grounds – set among the gum trees and with unbeatable
views over mountains, bushlands and coastline.
Attractively decorated with hand-made furniture and vibrant fabrics, it has a living area and bedroom which open onto shaded decking. Views are dreamy from the bathroom, too, with its extra deep tub.
Exotic flowers and chocolates are a nice welcoming touch from owners Penn and Toni, and you can even pick your own veggies from the organic gardens.

Look forward to excellent breakfasts here, served al fresco on the front deck or delivered to your cottage. Evening meals are also available by arrangement (24 hours notice), and
the fresh seafood platter goes down a treat – especially with a crisp bottle of Hunter Valley white wine. Other options include spinach and ricotta lasagne, and you'll want to round off with one of the speciality desserts such as crème caramel.
Dining out
Matilda’s Restaurant at Nambucca Heads (10km away) serves flavoursome steaks and seafood in a characterful wooden building.

See & Do
You're in the heart of NSW surfing country here. Pristine beaches and uncrowded surf are right at your feet – survey the surf from your hillside vantage point (you can even spot dolphins or whales from here) then grab your board and go. You'll find great waves around the river mouth at nearby Nambucca Heads and dozens of other spots. Your hosts have plenty of local knowledge and will be happy to point you the right way.
Go exploring in a 4WD beach drive or rainforest tour, bushwalking on mountain trails or discover the nearby coastal towns of Nambucca Heads and Coff's Harbour. Or simply birdwatch from your deck: don't be surprised to spot cockatoos, king parrots, lorikeets, rosellas and other exotic species.

Head for the Bookshop Cafe at nearby Nambucca Heads for second-hand books, internet access and delicious fruit smoothies.
Spa
Book a full body relaxation massage for the ultimate treat, or maybe a couples' meditation and yoga session.
After dark
The Starfish Cafe at Nambucca Heads has live music on some nights. For a quieter time, enjoy the night air on your deck with a bottle of vino and listen to the sounds of the rainforest.
