BUDDHA-BAR HOTEL
Five-star oriental designer den in downtown Prague.
DRIPPING WITH STYLE AND SEX APPEAL, Buddha-Bar Hotel in the heart of historic Prague is
designed for shameless sybarites – from its scarlet wall hangings to its sumptuous hammam.
Moodily chic from the darkly exotic decor to the drift of oriental incense, this brand new boutique hotel is all contempo-Asian with shades of French colonial. A self-styled
five-star urban resort just steps away from the city’s Old Town Square, it echoes the ambience of the famous Buddha-Bar restaurants.
Opulent quarters come with darkly polished woods and big beds, Nespresso coffee machines,
rain showers, carved stone baths with Aquasound and (in the suites) jacuzzis. Bathrooms are stocked with Buddhattitude amenities and a mirror complete with TV screen that you can watch while soaking in the suds. Evening turndown comes with orchids and chocolates, and even the loo has a remote control.
Hit the spot
Close to Prague’s Old Town Square.
Bedtime
Stone bathtubs for two, walk-in rain showers and Buddhattitude body products make bathrooms almost as cool as bedrooms. Suites come with a jacuzzi bath, too.
Be savvy
This is wall-to-wall style – not for those after the quaint and conventional.
Be smitten
Designer den with Buddhattitude.
Chillout sounds
Unwind to
chilled Asian sounds and world beats in your room (Buddha-Bar compilations have been bestsellers worldwide), or browse the music library downstairs. Just choose your mood – the sound system even has live DJ music channels. A pillow menu should ensure dreamy slumbers.
Spanning two floors,
the see-and-be-seen Buddha-Bar Restaurant and lounge spans two floors and comes with resident DJs and a giant Buddha statue. Start the night sipping cocktails and people watching before grazing on a menu majoring on Pacific Rim tapas and seafood. There’s also a café where breakfast is served amid vibrant turquoise chairs and Buddha inspired paintings.
Welcome drinks will be waiting your arrival. For yet more feelgood factor, check out the
hammam steam room and jacuzzi, work out in the mini-gym or book an in-room spa treatment during your stay.
Buddha-Bar Hotel is
minutes from the best of historic Prague and its prime shopping streets. If you can drag yourselves away from this five-star (and expensive) oriental designer den, the Czech capital’s other jewels twinkle nearby.
