Many artists call the Blue Mountains home, and their galleries are open for visits when you’re ready to take the views back home with you.

Dress-circle views

You're perched on the escarpment here with grandstand views of the mountains. Leura's famous shops are a short stroll away and walking trails both soft and strenuous start from the front door. Book a massage on your return to ease those tired muscles.

This is a luxurious home away from home where you can look after yourselves, or call on in-house catering if you don’t feel like cooking. Bring your friends and make a party of it – there are four rooms so you can have the place to yourselves or share it with your pals. Dining in
Wanabee cordon blues can cook whatever they want – you'll find a barbecue, wok and fresh ingredients delivered to your door. If you'd rather put your feet up, your own private chef will arrive to cook and clean up instead. You're free to choose what and where you eat.

Dining out
Head into nearby Blackheath and make a beeline for award-winning Ashcrofts – a favourite with the locals. Solitary at Leura Falls – perched above the Leura Cascades – comes with amazing views, too.

See & Do
Take a bushwalk (and a picnic) to Leura Cascades, or see the Blue  Mountains the lazy way – by cable car on the Scenic Skyway. Plenty of artists have been inspired by the scenery here and there are scores of galleries to check out. The Norman Lindsay Gallery and Museum in Faulconbridge is among the best.

You are just a short walk from Leura’s shops and boutiques. For funky fashions, try Circus Boutique.

After dark
Watch the sun set with a chaser on your terrace  before curling up by your open fire.

It's time for the Winter Magic Festival at Leura and Katoomba, with costumes, music, dancing and a parade. 

September-October
Get two festival for the price of one, when Leura's Garden festival and Arts festival kick off. Gardens are a riot of colour and there's live music, mime and dance.
